Another successful CIF round for Surveyors to Education

We are delighted to announce that S2e have again secured over £20m of CIF funding for our academy and MAT clients.

In the latest 2021-22 CIF round we secured £22 million for 55 Trusts, and will now be embarking on a program of capital works over the summer months and beyond to make the condition improvements required and help to provide pupils and staff with an improved learning environment.

Our success rate is an outstanding 85%.

The Department for Education (DfE) announced that its 2021-22 outcome will provide funding of almost £483m for 1,466 projects at 1,199 academies, sixth-form colleges and voluntary-aided schools.

This underlines the scope of the fund and the importance of making a compelling application this coming December so that your condition improvement project(s) can get underway in 2022-23.

As the UK’s most successful CIF funding consultancy with over £275m won since 2013, we feel we are well placed to secure the condition improvement funding you need.

CIF’s core priority is to support condition projects to keep academy and college buildings safe and in good working order.

Projects include rectifying poor building condition, building compliance, energy efficiency or health and safety. Top priority goes to fire protection systems, gas safety, electrical safety or emergency asbestos removal. Further projects include work to ensure weather-tight buildings and continuous heating and water supply.

CIF also supports a small number of expansion projects where Ofsted has rated the school either good or outstanding and it needs to expand its existing facilities to increase admissions or address overcrowding.
