Surveyors to Education are the UK’s most successful independent CIF funding agency

The Department for Education have now published the list of successful appeals for the CIF 2019 - 2020 round.

This latest round provides an additional £8.2 million of CIF funding for 30 projects at 28 academies and 1 sixth-form college. To see the full list please click here.

This concludes the CIF bid process for this year. If you have submitted a bid or an appeal and have not been successful, the next time you will be eligible to apply for CIF funding will be during next year’s round (exact dates are still to be announced but the deadline for applicants to submit applications will be in mid December 2019)

In recent years CIF applications have been oversubscribed, so it is especially crucial that bids are submitted in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Department for Education.

Who can apply?

  • Single Academy Trusts

  • Small Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) with less than 5 Academies

  • Sixth Form Colleges

How are projects scored?

Typically, projects are scored against 3 weighted assessment criteria:

  • Project need 60%

  • Project planning 15%

  • Project cost 25%
