Innovative twist for new school roof

After we helped Ibstock Community College to acquire funds through CIF to replace their roof, the school ran a competition to challenge the students to design the tiles.

S2e were instrumental in helping Ibstock Community college to secure funding for a roof replacement. Once the funds were secured, Wayne Mycroft from NRA Roofing inspired the school to engage the students by setting a competition to create their own tile designs. The three winners had their designs immortalised in the roof which it is estimated will last over a hundred years. 

The school's head teacher, Mr Phillips, was delighted to be able to contribute to the local community's history and expressed his thanks to the partners involved "We want to thank everyone for their support. Thank you to NRA and Surveyors to Education, it's been a very efficiently done project."
